A Bit About Me
I was born and raised in Brisbane and have spent time in Newcastle and Tasmania before recently relocating to the Sunshine Coast in 2019 with my family. At a young age, I first lost my father to heart disease followed by two uncles in a short space of time, this surrounded me with strong, intelligent and determined women along with kind brothers who took care of me. As I have grown older I have seen friends through divorce, nursed some through chronic illness and said goodbye to others earlier than I wanted to.
The strength and resilience learned in my younger years served me well in life as a fifo wife, whilst raising four children and growing a career in Spa Therapy Management and as a Workplace Trainer. Most of my career has been as a therapist in busy five star retreats, hotels and cities.
I have always been intuitive mainly using massage as my tool to read energy. My healing hands and ability to listen to thousands of women whilst handing them tissues as they cried into a small face hole was the catalyst for re-training as a counsellor. I have witnessed many cathartic moments including my own. Like many of you I have dealt with my share of challenges that stem from finding balance in the crazy busy life we create for ourselves.
As a Therapist with over 25 years experience I am well aware of the relationship between physical aches and pains, tension and the psychological stress response. I offer you a unique personalised approach which draws on my knowledge of the mind, body and spirit connection.
